Tom Hyde, DC, DACBSP, CKTP

Dr. Thomas Hyde, DC, DACBSP graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1977. He became the chiropractic consultant for the Miami Dolphins from 1990 through 1997. He also attended a 2 weeks sports medicine internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO in 1986 and served as the US chiropractor to the Pan American Games in 1987.  Dr. Hyde served on the first RAND multidisciplinary panel on Low Back Pain, served on the Mercy Document and the CCGPP soft tissue section. He has traveled all over the US and many countries teaching treatment of athletic injuries and soft tissue injuries. He just completed the second edition of Conservative Management of Sports Injuries published by Jones and Bartlett with his co-editor and co-contributor, Marianne Gengenbach.  After sustaining a career ending injury in 1996, Dr. Hyde now spends his time lecturing and teaching. Currently, he serves on the FCER Board and is an advisor to the ACA Sports Council,

Gregory H. Doerr DC, CCSP, ART, CKTP

Dr Gregory H. Doerr, DC, CCSP is a graduate of the New York Chiropractic College. He completed a certification in Chiropractic Sports Medicine in 1998 (CCSP). Dr Doerr lectures for Graston Technique and The Council on Chiropractic and Extremity Procedures (CCEP). He has lectured at the US Olympic Training Center and internationally at the Central American Sports Medicine Congress on treatment and rehabilitation of the endurance athlete. Dr. Doerr has worked with athletes from the AVP Volleyball Tour in 2007, the Gold Cup in 2007, Central American Games in July of 2006, with Washington Redskins in March of 2004 and the University of Colorado in 2004. He currently is the chiroprator for two club soccer teams and a club volleyball team. Dr Doerr has a growing reputation with marathon runners treating athletes from running clubs in NJ and Manhattan.  Both Dr. Doerr and Dr. Hyde have served on the medical staff for several mountain climbs to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research, including climbs of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and El Misti in Peru.

Phil Page, PT, ATC, MS, CSCS, CKTP

Phil Page is a licensed physical therapist, athletic trainer, and certified strength & conditioning specialist. He graduated from LSU in physical therapy and received his master’s degree in exercise physiology from Mississippi State University. He has been involved in rehabilitation and sports medicine for over 20 years. His clinical and research interests include the role of muscle imbalance in musculoskeletal pain, and in promoting physical activity for health-related physical fitness, particularly for chronic disease management. Phil lectures extensively and provides workshops on a variety of topics around the world, including the Janda Approach to Muscle Imbalance. He has presented over 100 international lectures and workshops on exercise and rehabilitation topics, and has over 50 publications including 2 books. He is currently a PhD candidate in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University, concentrating in motor behavior. He has worked with the athletic programs at LSU, Tulane, the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks, as well as the United States Olympic Track and Field Trials.

Warren Hammer DC, MS, DABCO

Warren Hammer, a graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College, has been in practice in Norwalk, Conn. since 1959. For the past 30 years, Dr. Hammer blends a keen interest in soft-tissue methods of healing with his expertise in spinal adjusting. He has studied numerous soft-tissue methods and applies them to the practice of chiropractic.  Dr. Hammer's third edition of Functional Soft-Tissue Examination and Treatment by Manual Methods is available from Jones & Bartlett publishers. He writes a regular column for Dynamic Chiropractic and has written articles for prominent journals such as Chiropractic Sports Medicine, the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Chiropractic Technique and the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies. Dr. Hammer has been a consultant and instructor of Module II for Graston Technique since 2001.



Shawn Burger PT

Shawn Burger completed undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College, CA in 1995 and received his Bachelor of Science degree and Masters in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, CA in 1998. Post graduate courses have included programs from Brian Mulligan and Richard Jackson.  He is currently the Vice President of Burger Physical Therapy, Inc and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of 14 outpatient clinic sites that provide physical, occupational and speech therapy to the greater Sacramento area. Currently an instructor for the Graston Technique. Shawn has particular experience and clinical interest in ACL, rotator cuff repairs, and rehabilitation of total hip replacements. He has worked with many baseball pitchers using high level throwing rehabilitation techniques. He also specializes in post-operative and acute injury management.

Mike Cicero PT

Mike Cicero graduated from California State University – Sacramento in 1998, with his degree in Physical Therapy. He opened (2) private Outpatient therapy clinics over the following years and, recently, merged his business with another private practice group in Folsom, California. Mike is currently working as the Director of Outpatient Operations for this company and treating in one of his sites.  Mike was a P.T. volunteer at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Track and Field Trials. Additionally, he volunteered as a P.T. for the National Junior Olympics. Mike is an assistant instructor for the Graston Technique and is a teaching partner with the CHW Family Practice Residency Program.



Ted Forcum DC

Dr. Ted Forcum received a bachelor’s degree from Willamette University, and achieved his doctorate from Western States Chiropractic College. During that time, he became a licensed massage therapist and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Forcum is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP). He is certified in KinesioTaping (CKTP), Graston Technique, NASM Certified Exercise Specialist (CES), NASM Performance Exercise Specialist (PES), and is a Registered Trigenics Practitioner (RTP). Dr. Forcum was selected as a 2008 Beijing US Olympic Team Chiropractic, and 2007 Rio de Janeiro US Pan American Team Chiropractic. He has worked as an event physician for such events as the U.S Track and Field Olympic Trials, U.S Track and Field National Championships, U.S. Taekwando Championships, US Triathlon National Championships, World Veteran’s Games, Nike World Masters Games, US Soccer Festival and US Figure Skating Championships.   In 2004, Dr. Forcum was voted in as the 2nd Vice President of the American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports and Physical Fitness. Dr. Forcum is currently in private practice, as Director of Back in Motion Sports Injuries Clinic, LLC in Beaverton, Oregon,
